There are many ways to get around Rancho Mirage. Here are a few options you have.

Rancho Mirage Public Transportation

Sunline Transit - Palm Desert Public TransitSunline Transit Agency - With 11 routes operating throughout the Coachella Valley, Sunline Transit Agency can get you almost anywhere you need to go. Fares don´t exceed $1 for adults and include transfers within 2 hours of initial boarding. STA also offers a curbside service called SunDial that can be used to get qualified customers to the SunBus.


City of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority Transportation Services - This service is available to residents living in housing complexes the City of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority owns. Complexes included are Santa Rosa Villas, Whispering Waters and Parkview Villas. The taxi services available through this program are offered at significantly reduced rates. These taxis travel throughout most of the Coachella Valley as long as the destination is related to food shopping, medical, dining, personal needs, social services, health, and recreation.

Rideshare - Encouraging people to go green, saving both gas, emissions and your hard earned cash, Rancho Mirage participates in the Riseshare Program. There are several Rideshare lots available in the city and throughout the Valley. Check the Rideshare website to find a travel partner today.

Driving in Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage is served by the 111 Highway and the 10 Interstate Highway. It is within day trip range of Joshua Tree National Park, the San Bernardino National Forest, Los Angeles and many Southern California Beach Cities.

Flying in Palm Desert

Palm Springs AirportFor more extended travel, most residents of the Coachella Valley fly into and out of the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). From here you can fly almost anywhere in the world on your choice of over 10 major airlines. PSP is less than 8 miles away from the center of Rancho Mirage.
