In August 2008, the City of Indian Wells opened the IW Club, together with the city-owned transformed 36 hole golf course a 80 million dollar project. The golf course was designed by John Fought and Clive Clark. The IW Club, a 53,000 Square-foot stunning example of desert modern architecture clubhouse was designed by Phoenix based architects Douglas Fredrikson Associates.
